Blogging Every Day:

What

I’ve Learned

So Far

I’ve been blogging every day for almost two months.

But I haven’t been doing it on just one blog.

I’ve been blogging daily for two months on two blogs.

Plus, I’m a freelance outdoor writer. I blog for a few other websites (once a week). And I’m actively creating content for social media and discussion forums.

It probably sounds like I don’t sleep. And I wouldn’t get any if I’d not learned the things I’ve learned after blogging daily for nearly two months.

So on that note, I want to tell you about the things I’ve learned in the hope that they can help you with your writing journey whether you’re blogging every day or not.

Blogging Every Day

Consistency is King when Blogging Every Day

Content is still king regardless of the heading on this section.

But Consistency is the second king for sure! You got to be consistent when blogging every day, or you will not blog every day.

And being consistent about it doesn’t just mean you must write a new post daily. It means you must consistently develop new ideas to blog about. And you need to plan everything and take advantage of the tool created to help ease the stress of posting something every day.

I mean, it’s an adventure to post on a blog (or two) every single day. But it can be stressful because you develop a sense of urgency around your blogging activities.

If you get the consistency down and master it, you’ll have less stress blogging on a daily basis.

Instead of Blogging Every Day – Schedule Every Day

If you’re using WordPress, like over 43% of the rest of the World Wide Web, you have a free feature that you should be taking advantage of – post scheduling.

The post-scheduling feature can help blogging every day because you can pre-schedule your daily content. I choose a day to write multiple blog posts so I can schedule them a few days ahead of my daily blogging schedule.

Writing posts ahead of time is smart blogging when it comes to blogging daily. Sometimes I’ll get myself a week ahead of schedule. That allows me to take a break from writing when I need to, especially in case of an emergency or something like that.

You should still try to write every day, in any case. It does feel good, and it gives you an almost high feeling of creating content daily if you enjoy writing.

But taking advantage of the tools available to relieve the stress of blogging every day is just the most intelligent thing to do.

The Challenges of Content Ideas for Blogging Every Day

Blogging every day comes with many challenges, as it should because you don’t have much time to prepare for each post.

One of the biggest challenges is coming up with new content ideas. It’s a challenge because you’re writing a new topic daily rather than once a week.

When you put content out daily, you start to run out of ideas for new content. It makes total sense as there are 365 days in a year, and there are many ideas to come up with. But I’ve found a great solution in nearly two months of blogging every day.

The solution is sub-topics (but you have to be creative about it). I create a weekly content idea schedule and sub-topics off each of the weekly idea topics.

Then I create sub-topics from the already created sub-topics and make them into an endless loop.

And that’s what I’ve learned in the nearly two months I’ve been blogging every single day. I hope these tips and recommendations help you blog every day or at least make your current content creation schedule easier than it is now.
