Your Blogging Comfort Zone

may be

stopping your

blogging success!

Do you have a certain blogging comfort zone around how you manage your blog? Maybe you only like to use certain styles of articles. Maybe you only like to publish a certain amount of posts a month. Maybe you don’t want to explore alternative methods of marketing. Maybe you don’t want to spend any money on advertising. But have considered that your blogging comfort zone might be stopping you from being a successful blogger in the end?

A Blogging Comfort Zone is a good thing to have

At first! In the beginning of your blogging career, having a blogging comfort zone is a good idea. It will help you create consistency with your content. You will get comfortable blogging a certain way and you will do it more and more. Blogging consistency is important. It is important to turn your blogging routines into a healthy blogging habit. By having a comfort zone, it is easier to be consistent because you’re blogging in a way that makes you comfortable. So, by all means, having a comfortable way of blogging is very important in the beginning.

A Blogging Comfort Zone is a good thing to break

After you have been blogging for a while, it is time to break your comfort zone. Consistency is important to hold always but, in the beginning, you focus on making consistency habitual. Now that you are used to blogging and writing content on time, you need to focus on getting used to other things. Blogging demands change. You can’t get away with doing everything one way and succeeding anymore. The market is too competitive and oversaturated. Doing it all the same way every day is probably making you miss out on a lot of great opportunities to make your blog better. This is especially true if you want to make your blogging a full-time gig. You’re going to have to get used to changing your routine to better your blog.

Breaking Your Blogging Comfort Zone with Experimenting

The best way to break your blogging comfort zone is to conduct experimental changes. For example, if you just write articles in a case-study style, try Top-10 styles instead, for a while. Pay attention to the analytics and A/B test each style. Which one performs better? The same experimental changes should be made for marketing, revenue earning, and pivoting features as well. A lot of bloggers become even more successful with podcasting, but you won’t know that unless you try it. There is nothing wrong with trying new things, especially in the blogging community. Experiment and analyze every so often to see how changes impact your overall ranking, profit earning, and marketing levels.

And that sums up how to get past your blogging comfort zone to make your blog better. A comfort zone for blogging is a good thing to have at first. But as you advance yourself into a more professional blogger, you need to be acceptable to change your routines. This will be especially true when you want your blogging activities to become a full-time career. Blogging works when we work for it to make it work and change is work.
